Advens

Cybersecurity
with a purpose

Advens is an independent cybersecurity pure player with more than 350 experts across France and Europe. The company asked me to write a series of articles to convey their vision of security as a common good we need to protect.

Driving cybersecurity forward
with a sense of purpose

Advens approached me because they were looking for someone to produce articles on cybersecurity which would reflect their unique point of view on technical topics and highlight their commitment to tech inclusivity and accessibility through initiatives such as LinkedOut.

A proven methodology
for clear articles

We decided to work together on a series of long-form articles for the company’s blog. The first article was about cybersecurity audits in the biomedical field.

1. Project scoping

After Benjamin Leroux, Head of Marketing, briefed me on the main points they wanted to address in the piece, I drafted an outline to ensure our visions were aligned. This was also an opportunity to discuss the brand’s editorial guidelines.

2. Gathering material

Once the target, message, structure and sources were approved, I interviewed two of Advens’s experts.

3. Writing

I then wrote the article and made sure the interviewees were okay with the quote I used in the piece. I sent this initial version to Benjamin Leroux and waited for his feedback.

4. Editing

We updated the article accordingly and published the following version:

Drawing on expertise
to delve deeper into a hot topic

Advens was very satisfied with the article which addressed a trending topic in their industry while showcasing their expertise and unique point of view. Search engine results were also positive, as you can see in the screenshot below, six months after publication.

We went on to work together on other topics, including multiple acronyms (EDR, XDR, MDR, CSPM) and cybersecurity regulatory framework.

‘I asked Loreleï to produce content and articles on cybersecurity. She was very comfortable with all subjects, including technical and regulatory issues and much more besides. She worked effectively with our experts to produce quality content which met our varied requirements on time. Working with her was a very pleasant and productive experience. I would definitely recommend her!”
